The MATESOL can be earned entirely online or coupled with a summer residency. Full-time students can complete their studies in as little as four semesters, and part-time study is also available. One-Year Fast Track with New York City Summer Residency
MATESOL students who blend online studies with a summer residency on The New School New York City campus can complete the degree in one year (Teaching Concentration only). Summer-entry students complete 12 credits over an 8-week period in one of the world?s most exciting cities, plus 24 credits online. For non-native speakers of English, this is an opportunity to be completely immersed in English for eight weeks. University housing is availble.
